Reach Out and Read Washington State is a fundraising resource

Programs, remember that myROR has great fundraising tips, templates, and resources from the ROR National Center and experienced ROR programs across the country.

ROR Washington State wants each ROR program to get off to a good start, and to be a sustainable part of the community. We provide fundraising assistance to our programs in a variety of ways, including: 

• Raising statewide book funds: We raise money and distribute it to programs across the state.
• Developing statewide and local partnerships which benefit local programs:  We develop statewide partnerships which have local counterparts, such as our relationship with United Ways of Washington, and local United Ways.
• Helping programs develop individualized fundraising plans:  We work with ROR Sites to strategize grant applications and other sources of support for their programs.
• Providing fundraising technical assistance to programs: We provide training and technical assistance on fundraising.
